Information

DotNetNuke is build-up from a basic core. This core can be extended using pluggable modules and providers that enable additional functionality.
There is a lot of out-of-the-box functionality within DotNetNuke; such as complete rich-text-modules (or html), RSS, Media, Announcements, Event-calendar, Forums, Feedback Forms, Surveys, etc....

There is always the possibility to create your own modules; or buy modules on the marketplace. Most of the functionality you can think of is already built and really affordable.

DotNetNuke makes use of "skins". Skins make it possible to change the look and feel of the website. Of course you can create your own skin based upon your own design. It's really flexible and strong!

You can almost put unlimited portals (websites) in your host-portal. You simply add a portal (when logged in as host) pointing to your one DotNetNuke-installation. It is really affordable if you want to have multiple websites, because you only need one hosting-package; with only one DotNetNuke-installation. Each portal (website) can have its own skin, modules, etc.

Then, there's another big advantage using DotNetNuke; and that is the user-accounts and their roles. Roles can be assigned to specific users, so that you can show specific information dependend on which user is logged in.
